Terms and Conditions

A deposit of $120 (cash) is required in cash at the time of the reservation. In the event of a cancellation, this fee is NOT refundable unless we receive 48 hours notice prior to the wedding date. The balance of the fee must be paid in cash prior to the ceremony.

It is understood and agreed that the following conditions apply:

 
You must obtain an Ontario Marriage Licence prior to the date of the ceremony. This document must be presented to the Marriage Coordinator or the Officiator 15 minutes prior to the ceremony. (A licence Is valid only for three months.) Marriage licence information is available from the Clerks' Department at the municipal offices. In Etobicoke, call 416·392·7036 during business hours, Monday to Friday.

The Wedding Parlour can only accommodate 30 guests. Please do not exceed this number.

Please arrive on time and make sure your guests have directions to Applewood. The ceremony will start on the hour.
If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, weddings scheduled after yours will have first priority. A surcharge may be assessed if the ceremony is delayed over 20 minutes by the wedding party.

Parking is limited to accommodate 20 cars. Car pooling is recommended.

Portable phones must be silent/shut off during the ceremony.

Two witnesses are required. In special circumstances, APPLEWOOD may be able to assist in obtaining witnesses for a fee of $10.00 per witness.

Throwing of flower petals, rice, strings and/or confetti and blowing of soap bubbles is not permitted on the premises, inside or out. Flowers may be worn by the wedding party and guests.

Photographs and videos are permitted. These should be taken within the time allotted for the ceremony and the signing of the appropriate documents.
No alcohol can be served before, during or after the wedding ceremony.

NO SMOKING is allowed in the house. Smoking is permitted only on the outside grounds. Please dispose of cigarette butts safely in the can provided.

The second floor is not open to the public.

It is also understood that both spouses agree to accept the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
